COSMOS is inspired by the universe — a dialogue between ancient technique, personal memory, and modern design. At its heart lies a reimagining of the granulation technique, transforming granular forms into amorphous, celestial bodies that evoke the intricate and organic structures of star systems. Domed surfaces dotted with gemstones resemble constellations, while spherical shapes repeat in a quiet rhythm — a subtle cosmic language.
The inspiration is deeply personal: childhood visits to the observatory with her father, moments of awe of the infinite, and the influence of Carl Sagan’s Cosmos series left a lasting impression, shaping Fanni Stork’s fascination with space and perspective.
COSMOS is also about freedom: of thought, of perspective, of feeling small and limitless at once. It reflects how we can become consumed by inner and outer battles — and yet, how liberating it is to step back, to lift off the Earth even for a moment, and imagine ourselves as part of something vast and mysterious. For Fanni, interstellar travel is not escapism but a shift in perspective — an embrace of fragility that leads to a new kind of strength.
